Welcome on Monkee Island

We look forward to your visit to the largest high ropes course in the Munich Metropolitan Region. The climbing island is idyllically located in the middle of the city of Fürstenfeldbruck on an Amper peninsula with a direct view of the Fürstenfeld monastery and the event forum.

Climbing enthusiasts can try their hand at different heights and levels of difficulty on four spectacular courses and two huge central platforms. Five rope slides with a total length of approx. 250 m, one of them over a branch of the Amper, lead safely back to the ground.

And for non-climbers: enjoy the view from a great spot right by the river and watch the climbing manoeuvres in the high ropes course from close by with a cup of cappuccino or a refreshing drink! You are very welcome! The climbing island can be reached by S-Bahn. There are also numerous free parking spaces available in the immediate vicinity.

For refreshment after your adventure or to chill out by the Amper, the Monkee Bar provides you with refreshing drinks or tasty snacks, such as vegan Hot Monkees, spicy nachos, frozen yoghurt, fresh bubble waffles, coconut water or delicious smoothies. We focus on health and sustainability in our food and only use products in organic quality or from regional sources.
